To Joe Hockey and other moderate Liberals:

For the last few days the conservative Liberal wing of the NSW Libs have weathered a barrage of either direct or indirect heresay and rumour. In particular, David Clarke has been accused of being (amongst other things) a zealot and extremeist.

Today Joe Hockey, a member of the NSW moderate faction, came out with an ultimatum: David Clarke, reveal your true colours and stop being shadowy. Wow! For over two years, David Clarke's maiden speech has been on his personal website. It is an illuminating insight into his supposed shadowy character and beliefs.

Please stop insinuating that this man is secretive. His maiden speech is clear in terms of the things he believes in and his attitudes to various post-modern ideas.
