Left Wing Diatribe

I have been compiling the following brazen examples of left wing diatribe aimed at the right. Also included in the following are examples of the brain-dead-stick-my-head-in-the-sand attitudes of the MSM. I believe that these two are linked. Here they are:
  1. From The Democratic Underground [Hattip: Michelle Malkin]:
  2. I am an American, Born and Raised, but I am NOT a citizen of BUSH'S America. I want nothing to do with the country these people have created.
And for those who support them, Let's get Something Nice And Sparkling CLEAR:
Stay The [F***] Away From Me. Stay OUT of my personal space. I want NOTHING from you. I want NOTHING to do with you. I want NOTHING to do with your "vision" of what the world should be.
What DO I want from you?
    Honestly?
I will freely admit there are days, and they are becoming more than not, that the Alien at Area 51 in Independence Day and I share quite a common ground on the answer to that question.
And I am NOT apologizing for it.
In the words of the Late, Great Bill Hicks, about the most conciliatory thing I can say for those people at this point is simply this:
    Kill Yourself.
What are the odds that he is also accusing Bush and the Haliburton Whitehouse of being a fascist regime suppressing dissent?

  3. An example of left-wing suicidialism at its best in academia [Hattip: Galley Slaves]:

College Professor to Student: "Real Freedom Will Come When Soldiers In Iraq Turn Their Guns On Their Superiors..."

Vows to kick young conservatives off campus

    Professor Daly’s Email

The full unedited text of Professor Daly’s email follows.

    Dear Rebecca:

I am asking my students to boycott your event. I am also going to ask others to boycott it. Your literature and signs in the entrance lobby look like fascist propaganda and is extremely offensive. Your main poster "Communism killed 100,000,000" is not only untrue, but ignores the fact that CAPITALISM has killed many more and the evidence for that can be seen in the daily news papers. The U.S. government can fly to dominate the people of Iraq in 12 hours, yet it took them five days to assist the people devastated by huricane Katrina. Racism and profits were key to their priorities. Exxon, by the way, made $9 Billion in profits this last quarter--their highest proft margin ever. Thanks to the students of WCCC and other poor and working class people who are recruited to fight and die for EXXON and other corporations who earning megaprofits from their imperialist plunders. If you want to count the number of deaths based on political systems, you can begin with the more than a million children who have died in Iraq from U.S.-imposed sanctions and war. Or the million African American people who died from lack of access to healthcare in the US over the last 10 years.

I will continue to expose your right-wing, anti-people politics until groups like your won't dare show their face on a college campus. Real freedom will come when soldiers in Iraq turn their guns on their superiors and fight for just causes and for people's needs--such freedom fighters can be counted throughout American history and they certainly will be counted again.

    Prof. John Daly

  4. Racism from the left, is of course, not racism [Hattip: Michelle Malkin, RedState]:
My IQ, free will, skin color, eye shape, productivity, sincerity, and integrity are routinely ridiculed or questioned because I happen to be a minority conservative woman. - Michelle Malkin

  5. The brain-dead-don't-want-to-know-the-truth of the Main Stream Media (MSM) [Hattip: Michelle Malkin]:
  6. "If we stop trying to figure out the other side, we've given up. The person on the other side is not evil -- they just have a different perspective." (Chris Matthews, Host of Hardball on CNBC)

Well Mr Matthews, their "perspective" is out there [Hattip: Dr. Sanity]:
Scott Atran: What are the conditions for Islam to be strong?

Abu Bakar Bashir: The infidel country must be visited and spied upon. If we don't come to them, they will persecute Islam. They will prevent non-Muslims converting.

SA: What can the West, especially the US, do to make the world more peaceful?

ABB: They have to stop fighting Islam. That's impossible because it is sunnatullah [destiny, a law of nature], as Allah has said in the Koran. If they want to have peace, they have to accept to be governed by Islam.

    SA: What if they persist?

ABB: We'll keep fighting them and they'll lose. The batil [falsehood] will lose sooner or later. I sent a letter to Bush. I said that you'll lose and there is no point for you [to fight us]. This [concept] is found in the Koran.

Incidentally, I was watching the 7:30 Report last night. Michael Brissiden was "Reading Between the Lines" to explain why so many books have been written about Labor and Labor leaders, and comparatively few have been written on John Howard. Anyway, I thought the whole report was a waste of time to watch, except this quote attributable to Michael Duffy, publisher and left-wing commentator:
Australia's intellectual culture, the people who read and write serious books, is very left wing. It's perhaps more homogeneously left wing than any other country in the world and there are various historical reasons for that, such as the Vietnam War experience and the power of the dismissal. There's just not an audience out there for books about Liberal people but as a general point the reason why intellectual people are drawn to Labor is for much of the last 30 years Labor has been the party of new ideas and intellectuals are drawn to new ideas.

Funny that the Australian people, the ordinary type that is, have voted the same conservative government into power four times in as many elections. But then again, the ordinary folk are brainwashed and not enlightened, like Professor Daly.
