Personally, I would prefer Iraq to be split into two: Shiite south and Sunni North.

The reason that I don't think there should be a third Kurdish state is because the Kurds can claim no territorial right over any land. Their heritage is nomadic. What territory should nomads be entitled to?

If Muslims can't get along with one another, even Islam with the same flavour (Kurdish Sunnis and Arab Sunnis), how can the West expect to assimilate them?
