Pat Robertson

I normally wouldn't waste ink on this guy. In fact I wouldn't even waste virtual ink on him. However, it has come to my attention by way of the esteemed WaPo that Pat Robertson is still getting time and space in the MSM. Well, why are they doing this? He has been marginalised successfully and for good reasons for a long time, but has recently come to the fore for his tasteless remarks regarding Hugo Chavez and now his assertion that Republican senators voting against the Miers nomination will lose their seats next time the face the electorate.

He is certainly out of touch with conservatives on both issues. He is also out of touch with sanity. However the last statement is a subjective one (some would argue otherwise).

Stupid people call him evangelical... his website is clear, he is an idiot, but he is also a second baptism experience chaser.
