How could I pass up the opportunity to post my joy at the news of this?

From today forward, the opposition parties will no longer be able to stall legislation such as VSU in Senate. I am sick of paying $500 + every year in student fees. I would rather pay for services I receive on campus and pay for membership to certain associations that I have an interest in.

Selfish? I dunno. Certain essential services such a student counselling services should be provided for and covered by a minimum compulsory fee. However, I look forward to the day when conservative students like myself don't have to financially support the rearing of the next generation of left-wing and or liberal (I don't mean Liberal here) politicians.

Bring on VSU, Unfair dismissal Laws and the reduction in chronically high income tax. Move over Kim Beazley (if you can manage).
